Beulah Buzzi received the award as "Unsung Hero" for her perseverance and commitment in improving the lives of many children and youth in Jamaica.
The award was granted by First Caribbean International Bank.

The Award "Angel of the Year 2001/2002" was bestowed on Beulah Buzzi for her dedication to Home of Charlotte's Children, and for her attention in the development of educational programmes and psychological assistance for the children in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
The award was granted by a combined commission of European newspapers; the Region of Lombardy; the City Council of Milan and UNICEF.
Beulah is thankful to all those who have contributed to the birth and maintenance of Charlotte's Children. It is therefore with a Joyful and Humble heart that she dedicates this prestigious recognition to: The Children, Local and Foreign Supporters, Volunteers and Friends.
